
Rob Scaramella
Founder & Managing Partner
Rob Scaramella is an experienced private equity investor with a proven track record successfully creating value in partnership with key stakeholders. Over his 20+ year career, Rob has executed a variety of transactions across multiple industries, primarily in control buyouts of lower middle market manufacturing, business services, and consumer/retail companies. Prior to founding Boardwalk Capital, Rob was Managing Partner of JP Flaherty Holdings, an investment holding company he founded to invest on behalf of a select group of family offices and institutional investors. Rob was previously a Managing Director at Hastings Equity Partners, a lower middle market private equity fund which partners with founders and management owners to help their companies scale, and a Partner at Delos Capital, a lower middle market private equity firm specializing in complex, value-oriented buyouts.
Rob also founded The Hudson + East Partnership, a private investment firm primarily representing the interests of a Forbes 400 family office, where he continues to serve as a Managing Partner. Rob began his private equity career at The Yucaipa Companies, a multi-billion dollar private equity firm specializing in food retail and other consumer-facing investments. He joined Yucaipa after working as an investment banker in the M&A division of UBS Investment Bank in New York. Rob holds a BA from Amherst College with majors in English and French.
